Mani Mahesh trek is one of the delightful trek in Himachal. Mani Mahesh is likewise a heavenly place for Hindus. Manimahesh Lake (otherwise called Dal Lake, Manimahesh) is a high height lake (rise 4,080 meters (13,390 ft)) arranged near the Manimahesh Kailash Peak in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, in the Bharmour subdivision of Chamba locale of the Indian condition of Himachal Pradesh. The religious hugeness of this lake is beside that of the Lake Manasarovar in Tibet. The lake is the venue of a profoundly worshipped journey trek attempted amid the month of August/September comparing to the month of Bhadon as per Hindu date-book, on the eighth day of the New Moon time frame. It is known as the 'Manimahesh Yatra'. The Government of Himachal Pradesh has announced it as a state-level journey.
Day 1 : Arrive Delhi (315m) - Pathankot By Train Overnight Journey
Leave Delhi for Pathankot via train. (Jammu Mail, Dep.2100hrs)
Day 2 : Pathankot - Chamba (912m) (118km; 3 - 4 Hours)
Landing in Chakki bank or Pathankot at 0650hrs. furthermore, after refreshments we leave for Chamba via train. Landing in Chamba and check in at an inn. At night we investigate the verifiable town of Chamba. This is truly worth seeing. The Laxmi Narayan sanctuary of Chamba is a magnum opus of Himalayan legacy design. Supper and overnight stay in inn.
Day 3 : Chamba (912m) - Bharmaur (2150m) - Hudsar (2280m); (80km; 3 - 4 Hours) Then Trek From Hudsar To Dancho
Note: Hudsar is the beginning stage of trek. We leave for Chamba by means of Hudsar and Bharmaur. Bharmaur is 67km from Chamba and is well known for 84 antiquated sanctuaries. At that point we drive to Bharmaur for Hudsar which is the beginning stage of Mani Mahesh trek. We trek to Dancho. It takes around 3 hours to achieve our first campground at Dancho. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 4 : Dancho (2550m) - Mani Mahesh (3950m)
After a reviving breakfast, we leave for Gauri kund and after that to Mani Mahesh lake. There are two approaches to achieve Mani Mahesh: one is through Bandar Ghati and the other is the course which is for the most part for guests. The sanctuary here is a standout amongst the most old in the slopes of Himachal. From Bharmaur likewise begins the trek through Kugti go to Lahaul. Kugti National Forest and Wild Life Sanctuary is situated here. This remote asylum is home to dark and chestnut bears and snow panthers and uncommon fowls. Overnight in camps close to this blessed lake.
Day 5 : Mani Mahesh Lake
To day will be free day to investigate the spot. Overnight at camp.
Day 6 : Mani Mahesh Lake (3950m) - Dancho (2550m)
Same Route Overnight in Camp.
Day 7 : Dancho(2550m) - Hudsar (2280m) - Chamba (912m)
Leave Dancho for Hudsar, drive to Chamba. Supper and overnight stay at a lodging.
Day 8 : Chamba – Delhi
Railroad Station and overnight prepare to Delhi.
