Spiti to Ladakh Trek (Detailed Itinerary)
Day 01: Delhi – Manali
Drive by AC Volvo at night at 18:00 hrs to Manali. Overnight voyage.
Day 02: Manali
Reach Manali by morning at 08:30 hrs. In the wake of achieving Manali, meet our delegate and registration to the lodging. Take rest this day. Overnight stay in the lodging.
Day 03: Manali – Kaza
Today, we will roll over the Rohtang Pass, which is the entryway to Lahaul. Drive through Losar, which is the principal town in Spiti Village to achieve Kaza. On landing, registration to the lodging and overnight stay in inn.
Day 04: Kaza
Post breakfast, we will investigate Dhankar Monastery. It is the previous capital of Spiti and situated over the meeting purpose of Pin and Spiti waterways. After this, proceed towards Tabo Gompa, which is one of the best religious communities in Himalayan Area. Investigate depictions and figures, which are over 1000 years of age. Drive back to Kaza for overnight remain.
Day 05: KAZA - KIBBER - DUMLA (4200m, drive 30 mins and trek 2 hrs)
Today, we drive to Key and from here we might trek tough to Gate and after that drop to Kibber town. After lunch, we proceed with our trek to Dumla bolted up amongst slopes and lovely campground. Further, we might plummet to limit Parilungbi canyon and cross the Parang River by scaffold and take after a little stream to achieve Dumla town, which is the keep going occupied town on course. Late evening, visit Chichim town found close-by.
Day 06: DUMLA - THALTAK (4600m, trek 4-5 hrs)
Today, after the breakfast, we should climb a high edge and afterward dive to the lovely glades at Thaltak. Campground offers lovely perspectives and ignores profound chasms. Overnight in tents
Day 07: THALTAK - BONGROJEN (5050m, trek 6-7 hrs)
Our trek throughout today will be a long and strenuous one. We should go down to the Paralungbi crevasse and afterward climb upstream. We will cross a waterway and move through a rough trail to achieve the campground. Overnight in tents.
Day 08: BONGROJEN - REST/Acclimatization DAY
Today's day will be kept for better acclimatization and giving our legs some rest before we endeavor the pass. One can go on a short exploratory climb today. Overnight in tents.
Day 09: BONGROJEN - PARANG LA (5490m) - DAK KARZONG (4850m, trek 5-6 hrs)
At a young hour in the morning, we should take off for the pass. It will take around 2-3 hours to achieve the Parang La (5490m). Like all passes this one likewise offers staggering perspectives of both the Spiti and the Changthang valleys. In the wake of seeing the perspective, we will stroll for around 3 more hours from the go to achieve the campground at Dak Karzong. Overnight in tents.
Day 10: DAK KARZONG - DATANG YONGMA (4650m, trek 3-4 hrs)
Today, we should dive along the open fields of the Pare Chu to reach Datang Yongma. Overnight in tents.
Day 11: DATANG YONGMA - CHUMIK SHILDE (4330m, trek/6-7 hrs)
Our trek today will be other than Pare Chu. We will cross Racholemo and Norbu Sumdo to achieve our campground at Chumik Shilde. Overnight in tents.
Day 12: CHUMIK SHILDE - KIANGDOM (4450m, trek/3-4 hrs)
Today, we will stroll over the fields to achieve Kiangdom at the southern edge of Tso Moriri.. This spot is figured to be the feathered creature watchers heaven. Overnight in tents.
Day 13: KIANGDOM - KORZOK (4500m, trek 6-7 hrs)
Our trek today will be on a delightful trail of the shores of the lake. The perspective of the lake with Lungser Kangri (6666m) in the setting is totally pleasant. We might visit the antiquated religious community at the Korzok town too. Overnight in tents.
Day 14: Korzok – Gyama
Post breakfast, we might trek over a few substantial roaming places to stay to Gyama over Gyamsharma La. Overnight stay in the tent.
Day 15: Gyama - Rajung Karu
We might trek to Rajung Karu by intersection Kyamayuri La today. Overnight stay in the camp.
Day 16: Rajung Karu – Nuruchan
Post breakfast, we will trek over the low edge of Harlam Konka to a little village and Gompa of Nuruchan. Overnight stay at Nuruchan.
Day 17: Nuruchan - Tso Kar
Our trek today will be to Tso Kar, which is a standout amongst the most delightful pools of the Changthang fields. Overnight at Tso Kar.
Day 18: Tso Kar - Tanglang La – Leh
In the morning, we might trek from Tso Kar to Tanglang La (5328 meters) and from here drive to Leh by jeep.
Day 19: Leh – Shey – Thiksey – Hemis
Today, we should go on a touring visit to some vital cloisters in the range. We will be going by Shey Gompa, which was at one time the mid year capital of Ladakh lords; Thiksey Gompa, which is said to be a standout amongst the most excellent structures in Ladakh and the extremely popular Hemis Monastery having a place with Drukpa Order. Overnight stay at the visitor house.
Day 20: Leh – Delhi
Get the morning flight from Leh to Delhi.
