Delhi's Kailash Mansarovar Yatra
The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, one of the most well-known pilgrimage routes in the world, is particularly difficult and physically demanding in Asia due to the 19,500-foot elevation gain and harsh terrain. The helicopter yatra from Delhi is one of the easiest and fastest ways to visit Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. A helicopter trip to Kailash Mansarovar is the greatest choice, especially for elderly individuals and those who are unable to travel long distances. This nine-day helicopter tour flies you to the Nepal-China border, from where you may take quick, comfortable rides to Kailash Mansarovar.
Trip itinerary:
9 nights/10 days via road, helicopter, and flight from Delhi to Delhi Day 1: Fly to Lucknow, then drive to Nepalgunj
Fly to Lucknow in the morning from Delhi. When you arrive at the Lucknow airport, meet your driver, who will bring you to the Kailash Yatri meeting location. Once you arrive, check your bags in the bus and proceed with the group to Nepalgunj (152m). Water and light snacks will be provided on the bus. After stopping for tea or coffee along the way, go to Nepalgunj. Check into the hotel when you get there. All of the group members will receive a yatra briefing from our staff in the evening. Stay at Nepalgunj and have dinner.
Included meals: hotel dinner and packed snacks; maximum elevation: 123 meters
Distance Covered: 190 kilometers by car and 1.15 hours by plane
Style of Accommodation: 4* hotel sharing
Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot on Day 2
Since the operation of those little aircrafts is entirely dependent on the weather, the flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot is the most difficult portion of this journey. On this route, the weather is constantly changing, which might result in brief or extended flight delays to and from Simikot. As instructed by the guide, we will be at Nepalgunj airport early in the morning in order to catch the earliest flight to Simikot. Our agent will meet you at the airport upon your arrival in Simikot and handle your checked luggage. Simikot will have the remainder of the day to adapt to the weather. Remain in a dorm-style guesthouse. If the weather is suitable,
Included in the meals: Vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and evening
Maximum altitude: 2910 meters
The flight covered 297 kilometers in 45 minutes.
Style of Accommodation: 4* hotel sharing
Important note: We have included a night stay at Simikot before traveling to Tibet because of our earlier experience with weather issues. The local representative may plan a helicopter excursion to Hilsa or Taklakot today if conditions and weather allow.
Day 3: Take a helicopter from Simikot to Hilsa. Travel to Taklakot by car
The group will be transported to Simikot airport based on when our helicopters depart for Hilsa. Members of the group, no more than five at a time, will take a 25-minute helicopter ride from Simikot to Hilsa. To cross the river and get to the immigration desk on the Nepali side, walk from Hilsa across the swinging bridge. After crossing the Nepal-China border on foot, a bus will be waiting for you on the Chinese side. The China immigration building is about a five-minute drive from the border, and the bus will take you there. Once the immigration check procedures are finished, drive the short distance of 22 kilometers to Taklakot. Prior to arriving at We must make another visit at the China customs building for verification before arriving at your hotel. Travel to your hotel and relax in your accommodation. We'll spend the evening and dinner at the Taklakot hotel.
Included were vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Maximum altitude: 4025 meters
The distance traveled was 25 minutes by helicopter from Nepal and 22 kilometers by car from China. The accommodations were a 4* hotel in Taklakot (or a lodge if staying in Hilsa).
Important note: Hilsa is an abandoned Nepali border town with extremely harsh weather. Since everyone will be traveling with a group permission and visa, it is required that the group members cross the border between China and Nepal together. One must take some time to unwind, practice yoga, meditate, or engage in other personal pursuits if they are delayed in crossing the border for any reason. If there is a delay in crossing the border, it could lead to health problems because the dusty air, intense heat, and chilly winds are difficult to endure. Although our stay at Hilsa is not scheduled, we may experience a shortage of food and other living amenities if a crisis arises. Please remember to be patient and bring water bottles and light snacks.
Day 4: Taklakot: Acclimatization Day Free
Taklakot will be free to acclimate on this day. Just relax at Taklakot and remain at your hotel. You might also like taking a stroll through Taklakot's neighboring markets. Taklakot has a lot of local stores, eateries, and shops where you may get travel-related little items like trekking shoes, gloves, sticks, and empty water bottles.
Included were vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Maximum Altitude: 4025m, Total Distance Traveled: 0km,
Style of Accommodation: 4-star hotel
Day 5: Lake Manasarovar to Taklakot

We will get the chance to see holy Mount Kailash for the first time today in addition to having the chance to stay close to the lake. After breakfast, begin your drive from Taklakot. We will halt along the route close to Lake Rakshas Taal, also called the Lake of Demons.
The Taal of Ravana. A stunning view of Mount Kailash towering above numerous other snow-capped summits can be seen from this location. Enjoy some quality time and photos with your loved ones in Rakshas Taal. Check into your guest accommodation near Lake Mansarovar by traveling to Chiu Gompa. After that, go to the lake to perform puja hawan according to your own traditions and take a holy bath. Later, board the bus to join the group for the holy lake parikrama. It takes roughly three hours to complete this 90-kilometer parikrama of Lake Mansarovar, and if at all feasible, the bus driver will halt the vehicle halfway between the kora so you may see the lake and Mount Kailash from a different perspective.
Included were vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Maximum altitude: 4590 meters
The distance traveled by bus was 70 kilometers to Chiu Gompa and 90 km to Mansarovar's parikrama.
Type of Accommodation: Shared guesthouse
Lake Mansarovar at night: Seeing the magnificence of Lake Mansarovar at night under the stars is completely safe. However, it is best to travel in a small group and, if at all possible, bring your Sherpa guide in case you need assistance. Additionally, don warm clothing and have your stick and torch close at hand.
Important Note: Please be aware that the Chinese government has declared taking a holy plunge in the lake to be illegal and has banned it. In order to bathe on the lake's shore and do puja, you must ask our sherpas to carry water from the lake in a bucket.
Day 06: First Day of Mount Kailash Kora/Parikrama, 12-Km Trek to Dirapuk
If someone want to take a holy bath and do puja at Lake Mansarovar in the early morning, please do it as soon as possible and after consulting your guide. We have a long day ahead of us as we begin our trip up Mount Kailash from Darchen today. After breakfast, drive 35 kilometers to Darchen, a sizable community with a large number of hotels, guest homes, shops, marketplaces, and other establishments close to the foot of Mount Kailash. We continue the 06-kilometer bus ride to Tarboche flagpole from Darchen, where the parikrama of Mount Kailash begins. You may rent a horse or pony and a porter at Tarboche for trekking, but occasionally Porters and horses/ponies may be scarce or unavailable due to the pilgrims' hurried pace.
Note: Our crew will provide hot drinkable water and lunchtime food in the morning. Please don't forget to bring it.
Yam Dwar is only a short stroll away, and you may enjoy a stunning view of Mount Kailash's south face from here. From here, the walk is thought to begin at Yam Dwar, the Gate to Moksha. The last goal for today, Dirapuk, is 12 kilometers away. Pilgrims must travel this distance in four to six hours. Today's hike is essentially flat with a few minor peaks and valleys. When there is not enough oxygen in the air, you feel restless and the hike becomes a little more challenging. Drink some water or juice, walk slowly, and keep going in the direction of your goal. In between, we'll stop at a tea stall where you may get additional water, juices, and other refreshments.
After finishing our journey, we will arrive in a vast valley that is peppered with chortens and a few small buildings. We will witness a massive black diamond-shaped mountain towering over nearby mountains on the right side of our journey. This is the sacred Mount Kailash's northern face. It will be chilly here at night, so take some photos, meditate, eat, and then head straight to bed.
Included were vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Maximum altitude: 5210 meters
The distance traveled was 35 km by car and 12 km by foot.
Type of Accommodation: Shared guesthouse
Important note: Those who would choose to alter their plans and avoid trekking will remain in Darchen and cover their own lodging, meals, and other costs. They can, however, travel to Yam Dwar and have a close-up look at the revered Mount Kailash if their health permits.

To take this little hike to touch the sacred Mount Kailash, one can speak with a tour guide. This is up to the guide's discretion and is not included in the package timetable. (Distance approximately 3 km, Duration 02–03 hours, Level Difficulty Trek)
Day 07: Trek 22 km to Zuthulpukh via Gauri Kund on the second day of Parikrama
If you wish to see the enchanted moment when Mount Kailash transforms its color in the morning and you receive the darshan of "Golden Kailash," get up early today and go outside your guesthouse. If you pay attention and concentrate, you might be fortunate enough to see a lot of other enchanted activities close to the summit.
After this unforgettable experience, continue your difficult 22-kilometer journey to Zuthulpuk. Dolma La Pass, the highest and most difficult portion of the climb, is reached approximately an hour after the walk from Dirapuk begins. You can also view "Shiva Tsal" (also spelled "Shiva Sthal") close to Dolma La. To symbolize the act of leaving this life behind and hoping for the end of a sad one, pilgrims leave behind their clothing, decorations, a lock of hair, or a drop of blood. You will see Gauri Kund, also known as Parvati Kund, on the right side of your journey after climbing steeply to Dolma La and then descending steeply. Continue your journey to Zuthulpuk and have a divine darshan for Spend the night in Zuthulpuk. The majority of the hike following Dolma is level, but you should not overdo it and instead think about walking slowly while staying with the group.

An elderly married couple is in charge of overseeing the temple here. More than six Tibetan devotees, servants, or family members live at the temple and keep themselves occupied with building maintenance. There are additional meditation platforms in the cave. It is worthwhile to ascend to these caverns prior to the conclusion of the last leg of the revered Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. We travel six kilometers, or two to three hours, to the end of our Mansarovar Yatra hike, which is close to Chongdo, where our cars are waiting to collect us. A six .
